Recently, social media contents about reasons to leave Turkey or why Norway is a livable place, I’d like to remind that many martyrs have died for this country.
Our country is surrounded by the ancient Nemrut Mountain, the ancient city of Ephesus and has many historical artifacts and ruins. However, for some reason, it is more important to see Buckingham Palace for our people, instead of seeing the ruins of 35 BC.
Istanbul is one of the most touristic and beautiful places in the world, no matter how much urbanization and traffic problems it has. Did you say traffic? Check out the Los Angeles traffic. You said there is unplanned urbanization? Look at the suburbs of France. The city of Istanbul connects Asia and Europe and contains both the modern and the traditional.
(Yes, we have national parks!) I know a lot of Hipster newbies look at the Yosemite National Park or mount Fuji only to say that Turkey is a horrible place, as if they’re going to do camping every week! Here, we have Kackar mountains. The air there is the cleanest, and only another spot to go camping or hiking. You don’t have to be professionals to climb Agri mountains where you can see three countries on the summit.
All cuisine around the world are special. It is not possible to put forward a name ofany country in this regard, but as far as I am concerned, Turkish and Middle Eastern food culture is widespread throughout the world. There wouldn’t be any Turkish restaurant on 5 th Avenue in New York if it’s not delicious.
No table is set without them. It leaves a sweet but warming taste with its anise in your mouth. I made many foreigners drink it and they all passed out!
I’m sorry if I gave you the impression that it goes smoothly in Turkey without any problem. It is not the case. This country was not won easily. But there was no United Nations at the time giving us our land, as they did to Israel. Each flower contains the blood of our ancestors. How can one leave just like that?

I know it is not perfect here but it still is magnificent and magical country.
